Historic Main Street in Buford comes alive as the artists of Buford display their eclectic wares at the historic Tannery Row Artist Colony right up the street from quaint upscale restaurants and decor shops. Buford is also home to the Buford Community Center, Town Park & Theatre which hosts free outdoor movies and concerts, and ticketed stage plays and concerts at an indoor state-of-the-art auditorium. Buford Community Center is also home to the Buford History Museum. The jewel of Buford, the historic Bona Allen Mansion, sits at the edge of Main Street and plays host to private events and weddings.
